PMA Long Course 2024 Registration Details

Nationality

  • You must be a Pakistani citizen.
  • Domicile holders of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan can also apply.
  • Dual nationality? If selected, you’ll need to surrender any other nationality.

  • Registration Period: September 16, 2024 – October 22, 2024 (Online Only).
  • Preliminary Tests: October 28, 2024 – December 20, 2024 (Excluding weekends and public holidays).

You can register online at joinpakarmy.gov.pk or visit your nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Center (AS&RC). Keep in mind that you’ll need an email account to register online.

After registering, you’ll receive your test date and time via email. Don’t miss your slot—no date changes are allowed!

Preliminary Tests

What’s the test like?
The preliminary test will include multiple-choice questions covering:

  • English
  • Maths
  • Pakistan Studies
  • Islamic Studies
  • General Knowledge

Successful candidates will then undergo physical and medical tests, followed by interviews at AS&RCs.

Physical and Medical Requirements

Prepare yourself! Candidates will have to pass a physical test which includes running, push-ups, and sit-ups. You’ll also undergo a detailed medical examination to ensure fitness.

Documents You’ll Need

To complete your application, make sure you have:

  • Original certificates and detailed marks sheets of Matric and FA/FSc.
  • National Identity Card (NIC) if you’re 18 or above. For those under 18, Form “B” and your guardian’s NIC will be required.
  • Passport-size photos: 3 copies, attested by a gazetted officer.

Repeater candidates must also bring the “Not Recommended” letter from previous ISSB attempts.

Ineligibility Conditions

Before you apply, make sure you meet all the criteria. You’ll be ineligible if:

  • You’ve been twice rejected by ISSB.
  • Failed thrice in initial tests (intelligence or academic).
  • Dismissed or removed from any government or Armed Forces service.
  • Convicted in any court of law.

Final Selection Process

After passing the preliminary selection, you’ll be nominated for ISSB by the Personal Administration Directorate. ISSB recommended candidates will undergo a final medical exam at Combined Military Hospitals.
